At Great Western Primary School our positive school culture is founded on student engagement being the basis for learning.  To support this, our staff are actively engaged in developing classroom practices to ensure that our pedagogy and curriculum engages all students.  Effective teaching, inclusive and engaging curriculum and respectful relationships between staff and students is promoted through professional learning teams that encourage innovative pedagogy developed using AusVELS and the instructional model.
